NASCAR Clash @ Bowman Gray

Welcome to the MadHouse! For the first time in 54 years, the NASCAR Cup Series is back at Bowman Gray Stadium in their exhibition race for the 2025 season. 

The starting top-15 for the Clash is as follows: 

• Chase Elliott (9) as the pole winner
• Chris Buescher (17)
• Denny Hamlin (11) 
• Tyler Reddick (45)  
• Brad Keselowski (6)
• Chase Briscoe (19)
• Joey Logano (22)
• Christopher Bell (20) 
• Noah Gragson (4)
• Shane Van Gisbergen (88) 
• William Byron (24) 
• Ryan Preece (60) 
• Kyle Busch (8)
• Bubba Wallace (23) 
• Carson Hocevar (77)

Our drivers take the green here at Bowman Gray and race for 21 laps before our first caution comes out for Noah Gragson bumping and spinning the Kyle Busch and Busch goes a lap down. 

Later, on lap 78, our next caution came out for William Byron after he hit the wall and spun coming off of turn 4 and battling with Todd Gilliand for 20th. On lap 98, we had our first lead change, when Hamlin passed Elliott for the lead. 

On lap 100, we have our halftime break and the top-10 are as follows:

5. Brad Keselowski 
6. Christopher Bell 
7. Carson Hocevar 
8. Joey Logano

Shortly after the restart for the second half, on lap 102, we have another caution for Kyle Larson (5) spinning while entering turn 3 after contact with Chase Briscoe (19). Next, on lap 109, Christopher Bell bumps Carson Hocevar’s rear corner and spins him out. A little later on, at lap 115, the 5 of Larson and the 24 of Byron spun coming out of turn 2 after contact with Hocevar. Finally, on lap 120, Keselowski spun and collected Hocevar as well as Alex Bowman (48). 

The next 80 laps go by without much incident, aside from the battle between Elliott, Hamlin, and Blaney for the lead. 

Ultimately, however, Chase Elliott is able to pull it off after leading a total of 171 laps and is your 2025 NASCAR Clash WInner!
